Child Education

Lighthouse Arts Center is an important resource to the Palm Beach community. It provides gallery space for world-class exhibits and offers learning opportunities for local residents of all ages. Our first opportunity to work with Lighthouse Arts Center came when they approached Argonaut Productions about a video project to support an immediate fundraising need.

To continue offering child education programs to the community, the Lighthouse Arts Center needed to have the space to house their programs. As a non-profit organization, they relied on a mix of grants and member support to fund their activities. When they were faced with an urgent need for funds to secure a space for their educational programs, they asked Argonaut Productions for help.

Lighthouse Arts Center wanted a video that they could show audiences at their fundraising events and use as part of face-to-face donor meetings. We knew that the best way to make a case for supporting their mission was to show the impact they had on the community through the work that they do.

A spreadsheet or a chart can show an organization’s impact in numbers but they can’t communicate the human element of an organization’s mission. We worked with Lighthouse Arts Center to craft a video story that would show supporters what the community stood to lose if those programs went away. When you can align a donor’s “WHY” with an organization’s “WHY”, the results are going to be exceptional.
